               The freshman boys basketball team defeated Villa Park Saturday by a score of 72-41. 
            Shane Cavanaugh once again led the way with 17 points and LaVette Parker chipped in 11.

The MD boys freshman red basketball team defeated St. John Bosco 63-44 on Friday. They were led by Shane Cavanaugh with 22 points and Ben Humphryes with 14.

On Saturday, they defeated Serra 54-46. The Monarchs were led by LeVette Parker with 15 points and Shane Cavanaugh with 13 points.
